My Fable is a three-person wedding studio in New Zealand — David on stills, Ari on video, Mag on content — selling photography, videography, and the candid in-between footage as three distinct things. The site had to make that distinction land without becoming a services menu, because nobody chooses a wedding photographer from a price list.

#Build

A custom WordPress theme where the portfolio is the architecture. Each wedding is published as its own Love Story, so the studio grows the site by shooting work rather than by rebuilding a gallery page, and the locations do the search work on their own — Auckland, Waiheke, Queenstown. Packages stay deliberately off the site and behind an enquiry, which keeps the first contact a conversation instead of a comparison. An Instagram feed runs alongside the published stories so the site never looks dormant between weddings.
